Founded in 2018, the Petra Palumbo design house has blossomed into a joyful world of decorative homewares — where colour, craft, and pattern come together in unexpected ways. At its heart lies Petra’s distinctive approach to design: innovative yet nostalgic, playful yet refined.
Her tile and trim collections offer a fresh, irreverent take on traditional ceramics — from the light-hearted charm of the Delft series to the vivid geometry of Tartan, which reimagines the iconic Scottish textile in tile form. Across each collection, Petra’s motifs invite creative expression — encouraging pattern drenching, mixing, and playful contrasts that bring walls and rooms to life.
Drawing inspiration from her Lebanese roots and the wild beauty of Scotland, the place she calls home, Petra’s designs are steeped in storytelling. Each piece is created to bring warmth, personality, and joy to everyday rituals — celebrating heart and human connection.
Caring for people and the planet is woven into the fabric of the design house. Petra works closely with skilled artisans to create heirloom pieces that honour craftsmanship while treading lightly on the earth — blending time-honoured techniques with fresh ideas so that tradition and innovation move forward together, gently shaping a more beautiful and thoughtful way of living.
Deeply moved by the world around her, Petra carries a quiet determination to make it better — and more kind. That same spirit of care extends beyond the home: through our partnership with War Child, we help to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children living in war zones. — a small yet meaningful way of turning empathy into action.

Behind The Name
The name Palumbo is of Italian origin, meaning ring dove in the dialects of southern Italy. Over time, the translation has come to embody a deeper symbolism — the dove of peace.
Our logo, a dove carrying an olive branch, reflects that heritage. It’s a universal emblem of peace, but for us it also represents love, hope, equality, prosperity, and freedom — values that guide everything we create.
