Inspired by the wings of the mythical bird, the Phoenix, the pattern is impactful in its small scale.

These tiles did not meet our quality control guidelines. These tiles are a single pattern tile and do not form a full set of 4 with the repeat design. As you can see from the images they sit very nicely together to form a small backsplash or you could use them in a single row.

You can pair up with our plain tiles and use a border or tile a larger space.

Please note: these tiles will not colour match with the Mrs Platt Sapphire current tile collection.

Design Notes

Designed by Petra to bring walls to life around the home. Think kitchens, bathrooms, splash backs, door frames, window surrounds and fireplaces.

Ceramic tiles handmade in the UK with a gloss finish. Our tiles are made to order so designs and colours may differ slightly from the images.

Due to the handmade nature of the tiles, the edges of the tiles are rough but we believe they add to the uniqueness of the product.

Occasionally our tiles may develop crazing. Crazing may occur naturally and can continue over time. After a tile or other piece of ceramic is fired in a kiln, a ceramic glaze will develop subtle surface cracks, which adds to the natural patina of a handmade tile.

Ceramics are natural, durable and use far less energy than metal or plastic.

CARE:
Fill a spray bottle with 1/4-cup baking soda, 2 tbsp. dish soap and 2 cups water.

Squirt the spray over the tiles, and wipe down with a damp cleaning rag.

Wipe the tile with a damp cloth once more, and follow with a dry towel to prevent water spots.

Use a mild, non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaner to clean your tile surfaces. Choose a cleaner that is free from harsh chemicals or abrasives that can harm your tiles. Steer clear of abrasive pads, steel wool, metal brushes, or scouring pads, as they can scratch the glaze.

For tile longevity, we recommend that you limit exposure to direct sunlight to ensure no colour fading occurs.
