PROJECT NOTES
Studio Fauve
Brooklyn-based Studio Fauve approached this child’s bathroom with a rare balance of rigour and play — creating a space that feels both timeless and full of imagination.

Geometry takes centre stage in the narrative: a herringbone floor introduces a sense of movement and dynamism underfoot, its angled rhythm dancing against the disciplined grid of our green Delft tiles. The structure provides a sense of order, calm, and continuity — a canvas for storytelling to unfold.
Within this framework, illustrated motifs — Snail, Goat, Deer, Ladybird, Thistle, Strawberries, Grouse and more — punctuate the walls like little discoveries. Each tile invites curiosity and delight, rewarding a closer look and turning daily routines into small adventures.
The result is a dialogue between structure and ornament, discipline and whimsy, tradition and imagination — a space that grows with the child and continues to spark joy long after the first splash. Beautifully captured by Nick Glimenakis and styled by Katalin Junek.
