BEHIND THE DESIGN
Delft Floor Tiles
Introducing our new Delft Floor Tiles – where playful design meets everyday durability. Delft wall tiles are everywhere, but floor tiles? Almost impossible to find. I created these out of personal need, after searching in vain for our own laundry room. Now, you can bring that same timeless charm to your home.

What makes our Delft Floor Tiles particularly special is the playfulness they bring to a room. With their whimsical motifs and nostalgic patterns, they can instantly lift a space, sparking joy and curiosity. Their 20x20cm format gives them presence underfoot, while still allowing flexibility in design — whether you opt for a repeat pattern, mix and match motifs, or combine them with plain tiles for contrast.
Think of them as a conversation piece: traditional in heritage, but fresh and surprising when laid across a floor. They add character to laundry rooms, cloakrooms, and quiet corners — turning functional areas into places with personality. Delft tiles invite you to play with design in a way that feels both sophisticated and lighthearted.

Recommended Use
We recommend Delft tiles for light domestic areas, including bathrooms, bars, pantries, laundry rooms, spare bedrooms, low-traffic hallways or corridors, alcoves, and formal living rooms. These areas are ideal for showcasing the delicate beauty of Delft tiles without subjecting them to excessive wear.
Not Recommended For
Delft tiles are not suitable for kitchens, main hallways, staircases, or family rooms, as these high-traffic zones may lead to premature wear or damage. They are also not suitable for external use.

Installation
For best results, we strongly advise professional installation. Correct laying and preparation are essential to ensure the tiles’ longevity and performance. Make sure substrates are properly prepared and use adhesives suitable for ceramic tiles. We recommend avoiding DIY installation without professional guidance, as this may result in cracking, shifting, or damage.
