Mother-Daughter Collaboration
Set up by my mother Hayat in 1986, Tapisserie specialises in hand-painted needlework using the finest quality unbleached canvas, hand-dyed French crewel wool and silks as well as cottons and metallics.
Having worked together to produce some beautiful needlepoint kits, I’m delighted to share the first design with you: a ’Trellis Rose Louis XVI’ in two colour ways. King Louis XVI Style was elegant, light and feminine and definitely inspired by the beauty and charm of his wife Marie-Antoinette. With hours of embroidery enjoyment, these kits are ideal for someone who likes to get stuck into a project.
*Each kit comes with a canvas that is colour-printed in the UK, a needle, clear instructions and the required amount of New Zealand crewel wool, hand dyed in France. NB. backing and trims are not included.*
