Based in the Scottish Highlands, Petra Palumbo is a sustainable homeware company. We design patterned, long-lasting, high-quality products with an environmental conscience.

Petra is also a curator who creates artistic settings that are both visually stimulating and unique with an acute attention to detail. Mixing colour, cultures, techniques, pattern and prints, the old and the new is the common thread that runs through her work.

Sustainability is at the core of what we do

We are certainly not perfect and there are lots of areas we would like to refine and make even more eco-friendly but here is a list of practices we currently employ to tackle and promote sustainability:

Design for longevity and reducing the need to consume

Openness within our supply chain

Eliminating plastic wherever possible

Minimal toxicity by using water-based, solvent free inks

We use recycled paper, cards, envelopes and reuse boxes, bubble wrap and other packaging materials where possible

Promoting and using organic, sustainable and fair trade materials
